Since Chrysa and I are about to begin a new phase in our lives it seems a good time to plan for the future. You know what that means? Financial planning!
We got in the Jeep and drove to Greensboro, NC this morning and made some very interesting discoveries. We met with the financial planners and it turns out, we are in good shape. As we sat in the conference room no one looked at us as if to say “you two are crazy”. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I think it was along the lines of intense eye rolling. I’m happy to report that didn’t happen. No one outright laughed in our faces either. Thank god for small miracles.
We made another great discovery…food!
I think every good meeting should start with a good meal. Thankfully we got to Greensboro in time for lunch and came across The Liberty Oak Restaurant and Bar. We had some really great food and a nice glass of wine (why not? we were talking money after all). Check these out!

The food was great and the meeting went well. This is a good omen I tell ya. Things are going be just fine.
